Theoretical foundations for ensuring the survivability of supercritical real-time computer systems with dynamic architecture reconfiguration
Original title: «Теоретичні основи забезпечення живучості надкритичних комп’ютерних систем реального часу з динамічною реконфігурацією архітектури»
How can managed degradation, done by hand for decades, become a matter of calculation rather than expert judgement?
Aim. To solve the scientific and applied problem of keeping supercritical real-time computer systems in continuous operation by developing theoretical foundations for dynamic reconfiguration of their architecture, in which hardware and epistemic components are described by a single measure of operability, and the sequence of architectural changes is governed by admissibility criteria computable at design time.
Object. The reconfiguration process of a supercritical real-time computer system under degradation of its hardware and epistemic resources.
Subject. Quantitative admissibility criteria for reconfiguration — the measure of system capability in a degraded configuration, the trust threshold for the system’s own environment models and the lower bound on the interval between architectural changes — and the hardware and software means of implementing them in the structural and algorithmic organisation of such systems.

Identification of transition to a post-critical operating mode of a robotic system
How can a robot detect that it can no longer be treated as nominally operational?
Applied research on methods and identifiers for detecting entry into a post-critical state, informing subsequent recovery or admissible continued operation.

Methods and models for ensuring safety and diagnosing critical parameters in complex systems using IoT
How can sensor data reveal hazardous changes before a complex system fails?
Fundamental research on critical-parameter monitoring, diagnosis and adaptive behaviour in IoT-enabled systems. The registration documents goals and planned phases, not certified results.
